M.C. Blanchard Judicial Building Parking

The M.C. Blanchard Judicial Building is located in downtown Pensacola.  Public parking is metered, parallel parking street side located on three sides of the building.  Modern solar powered paystations have replaced the old mechanical meters on both Government and Baylen Streets.  The new pay and display technology accepts all coins except pennies, as well as debit and credit cards.  When you pay, you receive a receipt that you must display on the inside of your front windshield.  Unlike the mechanical meters, the receipt allows you to move to other situated city parking without paying again - until the receipt expires.  Additional parking is available in a metered parking lot on Government Street across from the Blanchard Building as well as a private pay by the hour or day lot located on Government Street across from the Blanchard Building.  Metered parking allows one hour for each quarter up to 5 hours maximum.   Both Paystation and metered parking is controlled by the Downtown Improvement Board which may be reached at:  (850) 435-2949.

Disabled parking is located on Baylen Street at the corner of Government Street as well as immediately behind the Blanchard Building off Spring Street.   Both the public entrance on Baylen Street and the restricted entrance off Spring Street behind the Blanchard Building are accessible entrances for persons with disabilities.  There is also a curb cut drop off directly in front of the facility on Baylen Street.   If you have a disabled placard or a disabled tag on your vehicle, there is no charge for parking.
